BALMAR is more than a brand. It represents the legacy of the Martinelli family, born from the creative spirit of an Italian industrialist who, in the early 1970s, gave life to the legendary clic-clac toy – a social phenomenon that fascinated an entire generation across Europe.
That success marked the beginning of a factory filled with ingenuity, colour and optimism. In the following decades, his eldest son carried on the vision, consolidating production in Tunisia and turning the Jemmel plant into a reference point in the air-freshener and fragrance industry for international brands.
For over three decades, the Martinelli name has refined the art of creating fragrances, merging Italian craftsmanship with Mediterranean inspiration.
Today, the new generation continues this valuable legacy from Spain through BALMAR, a company that blends family expertise with a modern and sustainable vision.
Each BALMAR air freshener is born between Spain and Tunisia (Jemmel), crafted with authentic essences from MANE (Grasse, France) — the world’s cradle of fine perfumery — and guided by the Italian tradition of the Martinelli family.
